City’s coaching team, alongside chief executive officer Mark Ashton, enjoyed a two-hour question-and-answer session with supporters at Ashton Gate last night.
Speaking openly to the assembled fans in the Lansdown Restaurant, much of the focus was on the club’s recruitment.
CEO Ashton took the opportunity to discuss some of the methods the club use to attract players to the club, while head coach Lee Johnson talked supporters through the process of signing Niclas Eliasson as an example of that recruitment drive in action.
Assistant head coaches Dean Holden and Jamie McAllister offered insights into the technology and statistical data utilised by the club and its players, with the latter also discussing his time working with the development group last season.
Season Tickets for the 2022/23 campaign are selling at a record pace, with more than 9,000 supporters already committed.
