Support City In The FA Cup!

To celebrate Bristol City's FA Cup fourth round glamour tie with Premier League side West Ham United this Sunday, Bristol Sport will be giving every supporter a free scarf.

Sunday's match is being screened live by BBC One to an estimated audience of 8m viewers, and will also be beamed around the world.

Upon entry to the stadium fans will find a red and white scarf waiting on their seat. The aim is to generate a #CityWave of support to cheer on Steve Cotterill and his men.

Andrew Billingham, CEO of Bristol Sport, said: “This is a brilliant opportunity to create an amazing afternoon.

"By giving every one of our supporters their own scarf we will have a sea of red and white that will provide a swell of support.

“West Ham are a big team with a tremendous record. Their fans are some of the most vocal in the Premier League. We look forward to welcoming them here to Ashton Gate and providing everyone with a fantastic day.”

Fans are urged to join in with their own #CityWave - simply tweet @bcfctweets with pictures and messages for the team! The best ones will be retweeted by the football club.
