A special walk will take place in August from Weston Pier to Ashton Gate to raise funds for CLIC Sargent.
The 20-mile walk will be held in memory of Mikey Jones, who sadly passed away aged 14 in June 2017 following a brave battle with cancer.
Last year Mikey’s mum and dad took part in “Mikey’s Walk” along with 50 people, raising £20,000 for CLIC – who help children and their families who have to live with cancer.
In 2018 “Mikey’s Walk 2” will be held on August 11th, while a Summer Ball will be held at Ashton Gate on the evening of August 25th.
If you would like to take part in the walk or would like tickets or a table at the summer ball, please contact Jamie Nutt on 07785 288226 or visit the Young Lives versus Cancer Mikey’s Walk 2 Facebook page.
