Korey Smith makes his first start of the season as Lee Johnson makes four changes to his side against Blackburn Rovers at Ashton Gate (3pm).
The midfielder suffered a setback after making his comeback from injury as a substitute against Blackburn Rovers last month.
Scott Golbourne, Jamie Paterson and Luke Freeman are all recalled to Johnson’s XI, while Bobby Reid (dead leg), Joe Bryan, Josh Brownhill and Callum O’Dowda miss out having started the midweek defeat at QPR.
