Shirt auction raises more than £6,000 for charity

Signed match worn City shirts from the club’s recent 3-1 away victory over Middlesbrough raised an incredible £6,652 for charity.

The charity auction hosted by MatchWornShirt.com was the first for City’s ever-popular black away strip. The auction raised vital funds to support the incredible work being carried out by City’s official charity – the Robins Foundation.

The award-winning community work carried out by the Foundation is now more important than ever, with the organisation helping to support those most in need in the local community.

“We are very grateful to everyone who took part and placed a bid in the auction.” Commented Bristol City Robins Foundation Chief Executive Officer, Dan White.

“The money will go towards supporting the work that we carry out in Bristol and will help make a positive impact in the local community.”
