Severnside derby for Under-23s

City Under-23s will host their Cardiff City counterparts in the Professional Development League this afternoon (1pm).

Luke Williams’ youngsters will be full of confidence when they welcome the Bluebirds to Failand, having progressed into the Last 16 of the Premier League Cup just five days ago, courtesy of a 1-0 win over an in-form Liverpool.

The sides played out a scintillating 2-2 draw in the reverse fixture, with City’s development group coming from two goals behind to earn a valuable point in the Welsh capital.

The match is free for all supporters.
