Antoine Semenyo has completed a loan move to Sunderland for the remainder of the campaign.
The Academy product heads north to the Stadium of Light in search of regular League One game time, where he will link up with fellow Robins loanee Bailey Wright.
Head Coach Lee Johnson said: “This is a great loan move for Antoine. He has progressed through the ranks at Bristol City and it’s now about getting him regular minutes in a competitive league to take him to the next level.
“Sunderland is a club that is rich in history and they regularly get big crowds in at the Stadium of Light, so it’ll be a fantastic learning experience for Antoine.
“We will keep a close eye on him and we look forward to watching his progression throughout the rest of the season.”
The 20-year-old has made 11 appearances for Lee Johnson’s side this season in all competitions.
