Semenyo nets hat-trick in 8-1 win

Antoine Semenyo scored a hat-trick as he helped Bath City secure their spot in the Somerset Cup semi-finals.

The 18-year-old forward, who has recently extended his loan spell at Twerton Park for a further month, was in scintillating form against Welton Rovers on Tuesday night.

Semenyo opened the scoring on 11 minutes, after he latched on to Andy Watkins' pass before confidently sotting past the keeper.

He added City's fourth of the night, turning the ball in after it had crashed off the crossbar from a free kick.

And he completed the scoring with the Romans' last goal of the game, taking one touch before firing beyond the keeper once more.

Elsewhere, Jake Andrews was also on target for Cheltenham Town, as he scored a stunning free kick in their 2-1 defeat to Bristol Rovers.
