Semenyo goes pro and heads to Bath

Antoine Semenyo has agreed a first professional contract before joining Bath City on loan for one month.

The young forward, who recently turned 18, has put pen to paper on a deal until the summer of 2019. Now on loan at the National League South side Bath, he could make his debut against Concord Rangers at Twerton Park this afternoon (3pm).

Semenyo joined the club’s Academy in September after being spotted playing for SGS College, where the club’s youth setup is based.

He has been fine form this season, scoring braces in each of City’s last two Under-18 fixtures.

James Morton was already on loan at Bath and he has extended his loan spell for the remainder of the season, while Cameron Pring has done the same for Hereford FC.

Meanwhile, Opi Edwards – who recently made his debut for the first team – has joined Solihull Moors for the rest of the 2017/18 season. He joins goalkeeper Max O’Leary at Damson Park.
