Antoine Semenyo says City can take momentum into their weekend fixture with Reading after a midweek 0-0 draw with Watford.
It was a result which sees City go four games unbeaten with a third successive clean sheet.
Sky Sports Man of the Match Semenyo was in the thick of the action on Wednesday night as City pushed the Hornets in their bid to find a breakthrough.
“We were just unlucky I guess tonight but we’ll take the point,” the young forward said. “Confidence is high. Watford came here but defensively we played well together as a unit so we’ll take it and long may that continue.”
He striker also spoke about the team unity that sets them up to find a win off the back of Wednesday’s draw.
He added: “Everything in the changing room is fantastic, everyone has gelled together so we couldn’t ask for anything more.
“100 per cent we’ll take momentum. As a unit we’ve done fantastically well so now the weekend is about three points.”
City’s trip to the Madejski Stadium will again be live on Sky Sports this Saturday (November 28th, 12.30pm KO), meaning it will not be available to purchase or to Season Card holders on Robins TV.
