Salmon departs the West Country

Ebony Salmon will leave Bristol City Women this summer following the conclusion of her contract.

The 20-year-old moves on to pastures new after two seasons with the Robins in the Barclays FAWSL, scoring 18 goals in all competitions.

The youngster found the back of the net on 10 occasions this campaign across the Barclays FAWSL and FA Continental Cup, making 2020/21 her most prolific season to date.

Salmon’s performances on the pitch led to her first senior Lionesses call-up back in February under interim boss Hege Riise.  She would go on to make her debut for her country as a second half substitute in their 6-0 victory over Northern Ireland at St George’s Park.

Everyone at the club would like to thank Ebony for her contribution and efforts and wish her the best of luck in her next challenge.
