Runner, Nathan Richardson, visits Ashton Gate Stadium in the Bristol leg of his mammoth charity challenge.
On March 7th Nathan departed from Manchester United’s Old Trafford marking the start of a charity challenge, to run unsupported to all 92 football grounds in the English Football League.
Using no method of transport other than his two legs, Nathan has since run to 23 football stadiums across the country with Ashton Gate being the 24th.
This gruelling challenge is being completed to raise vital funds for two charities: mental health charity Mind and Super Josh – a charity which helps children with brain tumours and their families. Find out more here.
Nathan told the Foundation: “I’ve enjoyed my time in Bristol and it has been a really kind and supportive city.
“This (Ashton Gate Stadium) is my 24th ground, so I still have a fair way to go, but I am feeling good and feeling confident.
“Having the knowledge that I am raising money for two fantastic charities in Mind and Super Josh provides me with a lot of motivation, and I’m glad to be able to help raise some awareness for all of the great work that they are both doing.”
