Robins on roof of Football League content

Bristol City have been named Best Football Club in the English Football League category at this year's Football Content Awards.

The club that first brought goal GIFS to the football world and now ‘The Roof’, the go-to place on top of Ashton Gate Stadium for new signings to be revealed, has this evening (December 8th) been honoured for its engaging and pioneering content.

From the Reds Zone and Failand Uncut – exclusive behind the scenes content from training and matchdays – to ‘No Context Famara’ memes in honour of the club’s enigmatic Sengalese striker Famara Diédhiou, the Robins are leading the field.

City’s content includes City Women and the Robins Foundation charitable arm and is wide-ranging – from commercial partner activation, time-lapse and drone video capture of the new training ground and the Robins Nest podcast, to a virtual Black History Month player and coach question and answer session with more than 400 pupils on 23 separate video links.

The club is grateful for the votes for the awards by our loyal supporters and thanks the judging panel for recognising our passion for keeping fans connected and entertained, particularly in this difficult time when they cannot attend matches.
