Robins international watch

Six City players and a coach are on international duty over the next 10 days.

Callum O’Dowda, Joe Morrell, Ádám Nagy, Famara Diédhiou and Han-Noah Massengo link-up with their respective national teams, while Sam Pearson and Rene Gilmartin do the same.

Here we keep track of how they are getting on:

Callum O’Dowda

O’Dowda came off the bench in extra time of Republic of Ireland's Euro 2020 Play-Off semi-final against Slovakia on Thursday (October 8th) as Stephen Kenny's side lost 4-2 on penalties, while O'Dowda didn't feature in their UEFA Nations League game against Wales on Sunday (October 11th).

The Republic will now turn their attention to Wednesday's UEFA Nations League game against Finland (October 14th).

Joe Morrell

Morrell played the first half against England - their first meeting since Euro 2016 - in a behind closed doors friendly at Wembley on Thursday (October 8th), which the Three Lions won 3-0.

Morrell then completed 90 minutes in Sunday's UEFA Nations League goalless draw against Republic of Ireland in Dublin (October 11th), and will now return to City after missing the game against Bulgaria In Sofia (October 14th) after a suspension for an accumulation of yellow cards.

Ádám Nagy

Nagy played 82 minutes of the 3-1 Euro Qualifier win over Bulgaria on October 8th and he backed this up with 90 minutes in Hungary's 1-0 win over Serbia on Sunday evening. That was the first of their Nations League double-header, with Russia up next in their Group G journey. (October 14th).

Famara Diédhiou

The striker played 56 minutes before he was substituted in Senegal's 3-1 friendly defeat to Morocco. The subsequent friendly with Mauritania was cancelled.

Sam Pearson

Pearson came off the bench in the 82nd minute of Wales' 5-0 defeat to Belgium in the Euro U21 qualifier. He then re-joined the Under-19s for their game against England on October 13th, where he played 57 minutes in the 2-0 loss for Rob Edwards' side.

Han-Noah Massengo

Massengo will undertake a five-day training camp with France Under-20s.

Rene Gilmartin

Republic of Ireland Under-21 goalkeeping coach Gilmartin helped his outfit prepare for an U21 Euro qualifier away to Italy on October 13th but it was defeat for the young Republic who lost 2-0.
