Robins Foundation take part in Mind's 'Do One Thing' campaign

The EFL and its Clubs will once again come together with charity partner, Mind, to collectively mark World Mental Health Day (Sunday, October 10th) this year.

Mind’s ‘do one thing’ campaign aims to inspire people to make one small change or take one action to look after their mental health. As part of the campaign, EFL Clubs will play their part and ‘do one thing’ to say thank you to someone deserving within their local communities.

Similarly to last year, Mind are requesting that Clubs ‘Do One Thing’ as a random act of kindness for a fan, staff member or participant of their CCO programme. For example, Clubs could:

  • Surprise fan/fans with tickets to an upcoming fixture
  • Work with fans for them to invite family/friends/neighbours to an upcoming fixture
  • Provide a fan with a signed shirt for the new season
  • Arrange a surprise meet/video call with a fan and player/manager

This year the Robins Foundation surprised City fans Kevin and Lewis who play in the Robins Foundation's Pan-Disability Football Team, with a video call with Chris Martin.

Tickets for this weekends game against Bournemouth were also given to members of the Walking Football Team by Health and Well being Coach Lee Gillet.
