Students enrolled onto the Foundation’s education programmes will be heading to Lisbon as part of this year’s annual international trip.
The trip - which will take place in February 2020 - provides students with the opportunity to experience a different culture and play competitive football and futsal fixtures against local teams, as well as the chance for students to visit world famous sporting stadia.
The annual Robins Foundation international trip has previously visited a number of countries including: the Netherlands, Croatia, Germany and France.
Head of Education at the Robins Foundation, Chris Stenner, commented, “The trips are a great way to expose young people to different cultures as well as giving them the experience of being away from home and playing against opposition they would not normally come up against.
“Furthermore, it’s a great way for the students to socialise and for staff to get to know them as people, which in turn aids their development both academically and personally.
“The previous trips have been a huge success and a thoroughly enjoyable experience for our students so I am really pleased to be able to provide this opportunity again.”
