City have been handed a home tie to Premier League Huddersfield Town in the Emirates FA Cup Third Round.
The draw took place at Stamford Bridge this evening - live on BBC One - by Ruud Gullit and Paul Ince.
The fixture will be played over the weekend of January 5th, 2019 and City head coach Lee Johnson said: “The FA Cup is always exciting for football fans and it’s great to get a home tie. We had four great occasions against four Premier League clubs at Ashton Gate last season in the Carabao Cup and we are looking forward to welcoming Huddersfield Town.
“It’s always good to test ourselves against Premier League opposition but until then we have got six very big league games that will be very competitive in which we want to gain more points and build on the four we have got in the last two games.”
