Glyn Riley will make a return to Ashton Gate next week for Fulham’s visit to BS3 in the Sky Bet Championship.
The Freight Rover Trophy two-goal hero from Wembley in May 1986 will be present in the Lansdown Stand restaurant and Heineken Lounge to meet with guests.
Barnsley-born Riley moved to BS3 during the tough times of 1982 from hometown side. He went on to make 247 appearances for the club, scoring 77 times.
However, he will always be remembered for a firing a brace against Bolton Wanderers during the club’s first-ever visit to Wembley. Howard Pritchard completed the scoring in the one-sided contest under the Twin Towers.
