Results day success for Robins Foundation students

Young people enrolled onto the Foundation’s range of BTEC education courses today opened their end of year results to find an extremely positive set of grades.

Robins Foundation staff and students alike will today be celebrating after receiving an excellent set of end of year results.

Results across the board were high, with 71% of those graduating in year 13 exceeding their target grades. In addition to this, 60% of students gained Distinctions (A* to A grade equivalent).

Students in the year below also received promising results which will stand them in good stead as they are welcomed back over the coming weeks.

Head of Education at the Robins Foundation, Chris Stenner, said: “I am very proud of each and every one of our students for the work they have put in. During these testing times, they have persevered and shown a huge level of determination and resilience. It is great to see the year 13 students leave with a very high set of results which will now set them up for their next Journey.

“I truly believe that the nature of the courses, the support of the staff and the inspirational learning environment provides students with the opportunity and belief that they can achieve.

“Students who are graduating from our courses will now take their next steps in various settings. Some are off to universities around the country such as Birmingham, Bath, Liverpool and Plymouth. While others are staying local and entering apprenticeships in a variety industries ranging from: Sport, to Business Administration to carpentry.

“We would like to wish all of our graduating students the very best of luck in the future, and we are very much looking forward to welcoming our new year 13 and 12 cohorts in September."

“I am very proud of each and every one of our students for the work they have put in. During these testing times, they have persevered and shown a huge level of determination and resilience."
