City Under-18s were held to a 1-1 draw by their Watford counterparts on Saturday.
Trevor Challis’ side went ahead after 13 minutes as Antoine Semenyo chased on to Zak Smith’s through pass to fire past the Hornets keeper.
Semenyo, signed from SGS College, almost had a second as the half wore on, heading against the outside of the post from a good position.
However, Watford levelled just before half-time to bag a point for their effort, heading in from an inswinging corner.
City’s youngsters could have won it in the second half, creating countless chances. The best opportunity fell the way of Harry Smith who broke through one-on-one, but fired straight at the goalkeeper.
City Under-18s: Begovic, Turner-Williams, Ali, Z.Smith, Turner, Spark, Rees, Harry Smith, Semenyo, Day, V.Harper.
With just a few days to go until Elton John plays at Ashton Gate, concert-goers are urged to take advantage of special event Shuttle Buses laid on to help get fans to and from the stadium.
