A under-strength City Under-18s were on the receiving end of a 7-1 defeat by Sheffield United on Saturday.
Trevor Challis' side were without seven players through injury and illness - hardly ideal against a stronger and taller Blades team.
Subsequently four of the visitors' goals came from set-pieces.
It was 4-0 at the interval, and ended 7-1, with the City goal coming via an own goal.
City Under-18s: Carey, Edwards, Nurse, Reeves, Harry Smith, Burford, Akpobire, Richards, Brock (Vincent), Rees, Allen (Mortimore).
