Cameron Allen fired a brace as City Under-18s produced a confident 3-0 win at Millwall.
Trevor Challis’ side are now four unbeaten in the Professional Development League, after registering eight points from a possible 12.
The young Robins were in front after just seven minutes as trialist Joshua Newbury-Teelock crossed for Harrison Reeves to fire home.
Allen doubled the advantage midway through the first half, latching on to Reeves’ pass before dispatching the ball from 12 yards with aplomb.
City kept the pressure up after half-time and Allen took advantage of a weak backpass to round the Millwall goalkeeper and make it three just before the hour mark.
Coach Challis said: “We were totally dominant and my only criticism is that we didn’t win by more goals; we certainly had the chances.
“It’s a good run we find ourselves on now and it’s a shame the season finishes in two games because the lads have really hit form.”
City Under-18s: Sesay, Ali, Webb, Z.Smith (Harry Smith), Parsons, Harvey Smith, Edwards, Richards, Allen, Reeves, Newbuy-Teelock (Taylor).
