Aaron Parsons' late header earned City Under-23s a 1-1 draw at Coventry City, extending their unbeaten run to four games.
The first half was a tense affair, with very few chances of note for either side.
Coventry finally broke the deadlock on the hour mark, as Tom Bayliss picked out Ryan Haynes, who took a touch inside and fired past Alhaji Sesay.
But City extended their unbeaten spell with an equaliser near the end. Jake Andrews curled in a wide free kick and defender Parsons rose highest to convert.
Under-23 boss Luke Williams said: "We were a bit fortunate today to come away with a draw from a scrappy encounter."
City Under-23s: Sesay, Parsons, Baldwin, Plavotic, Edwards, Richards, Dowling (Lemonheigh-Evans), Bakinson, Nurse, Holden (Morton), Akpobire (Andrews). Subs not used: Sainsbury.
