Report: Coventry City U18s 4-2 Bristol City U18s

City Under-18s suffered a 4-2 defeat at the hands of Coventry City, despite a late rally in the Midlands.

Trevor Challis’ side found themselves two goals down at the interval, before conceding a further two after the break.

City reduced the deficit through George Nurse’s penalty after Opi Edwards had been hauled down in the penalty area.

Edwards then made it 4-2 when he converted Ricardo Rees’ pinpoint cross with a side-foot finish.

“We created plenty of chances but we have to be better in both boxes,” said coach Trevor Challis.

City Under-18s: Carey, Turner-Williams, Nurse, Reeves (Harry Smith), Harvey Smith, Ali, Llewelyn, Allen (Richards), Brock, Akpobire (Rees), Edwards.
