Report: Charlton Athletic U23s 1-1 Bristol City U23s

Bristol City ended their run of defeats, with Shawn McCoulsky on target in a 1-1 draw away to Charlton Athletic.

The striker, who signed a new contract with the club in August, pounced five minutes into the second-half, before Billy Clarke volleyed the Addicks level.

A close-run first-half saw the sides go into the break goalless at Sparrows Lane, with Ricardo Rees going close inside the third minute, but for a good save from Joseph Osaghae.

However, City were off the mark in quick fashion after the restart, with Rees turning provider when his pullback found McCoulsky and the forward struck the ball beyond the host's keeper.

But the scores were even again just ten minutes later, when Clarke met Albie Morgan's left-sided cross to earn both sides a share of the spoils in the Premier Development League encounter.

Luke Williams' young Robins return to action when they host Plymouth Argyle Under-23s in the Premier League Cup this Friday (November 9th, 7pm KO).
