Bristol City Women Development Squad defeated Brighton 2-1 at the Stoke Gifford Stadium, to go joint second in the WSL Development League South.
The Vixens, along with Arsenal Women, now sit one point behind Millwall Lionesses at the top of the table.
Amy Goddard opened the scoring on 21 minutes with a low driven shot.
City Women then sealed three points on 85 minutes, with an own goal for the visitors.
Two SGS College students also made their debut at the weekend.
Up next, the squad face Reading away on Sunday, November 26th.
