City Under-18s were impressive 2-0 winners over their QPR counterparts on Saturday.
George Nurse grabbed the headlines with a goal and an assist at Stoke Gifford Stadium in Filton.
Nurse broke the deadlock after just five minutes, receiving the ball on the left after a sweeping move before dispatching it beyond the keeper via a deflection.
The killer second goal arrived with 20 minutes to play as Nurse’s deep corner kick was headed powerfully beyond the QPR keeper by Jack Spark.
Coach Trevor Challis said: “It was a very dominant display from the lads and we could easily have won by a bigger margin.”
City Under-18s: Begovic, Turner, Harvey Smith, Parsons (Spark), Trialist, Edwards, Richards (Z.Smith), Morton (Rees), Nurse, Akpobire, Allen.
