Tammy Abraham’s younger brother Timmy was on the scoresheet as Charlton Athletic ran out 4-0 winners over City Under-18s on Saturday.
The on-loan Chelsea striker’s brother is on the books at The Valley and scored the final goal in the Professional Development League clash.
Alfie Doughty scored the opener with a low shot into the far corner, before Taylor Maloney doubled the advantage after robbing the ball from the City defence.
Albie Morgan made it three before half-time from the penalty spot, slamming ball home under the body of City keeper James Carey.
In the second half Abraham rounded off the scoring with a finish typical of his older sibling, placing the ball low beyond Carey.
“We performed better in the second half,” said coach Trevor Challis. “We created three good chances but weren’t able to convert them. Charlton are strong opponents and showed that on the day.”
City Under-18s: Carey, Williams, Barry, Parsons, Ali, Edwards, Morton (Llewelyn), Richards, Akpobire, Mortimore (Allen), Rees.
