Report: Bristol City U18s 0-3 Ipswich Town U18s

City Under-18s were beaten 3-0 by their Ipswich Town counterparts in Filton on Saturday.

At the end of an even first period, the Tractor Boys stole in front as Ben Folami raced away from the City defence to round Denis Begovic and score.

Zac Smith’s half-time arrival on the pitch saw him line up for the Under-18s alongside his brother Harvey for the very first time.

However, they were powerless to stop Steven Cahill from making it 2-0 on the hour with a close range tap-in.

The third and final goal arrived five minutes from time as Louis Walsh rounded off a swift counter attack with devastating effect. 

City Under-18s: Begovic; Turner, Parsons, Harvey Smith; Edwards, Ali, Morton, Nurse (Day); Reeves; Harper (Smith), Akpobire (Sparks).
