Signed match-worn City shirts from this weekend's fixture against Cardiff City will be auctioned off to raise money for the Royal British Legion.
This Sunday’s match is dedicated to remembering the service and sacrifice of our Armed Forces community. The team will proudly wear poppies on their shirts, which will be available to bid on through an online auction.
This year will be the first time that shirts will be auctioned off live from kick-off. This means that you can start bidding on your favourite shirt or shirts as soon as the first whistle blows.
All poppy shirts will be personally signed by the relevant player after the match and will be offered unwashed – so all grass and mud stains are still in there!
The auction closes four days after kick-off, on Thursday (14th) at 12noon. All bids made are inclusive of worldwide secured shipping and payment handling fees – so no hidden costs, with all profits going to The Royal British Legion’s vital work supporting the Armed Forces Community.
