Reid lands top prize at Bristol Post awards

Bobby Reid has won the Professional Sports Personality of the Year at the Bristol Post Sports awards.

The 24-year-old scooped the prize at the awards evening, which was held at Ashton Gate last night.

He pipped Bristol Rovers defender Tom Lockyer and former Bristol Rugby Ladies' skipper Sarah Hunter to the gong.

Reid has enjoyed an explosive start to the season, netting eight goals in all competitions.

Reid will look to add to his tally when Leeds United visit Ashton Gate in the Sky Bet Championship on Saturday (3pm).

The largest crowd of the season is guaranteed, with over 23,000 tickets already sold, and tickets remain on general sale.
