Recovery milestone for Smith

Korey Smith continues to take steps forward on his road to recovery.

The midfielder has had a metal plate removed to allow the wound in his foot to heal.

Smith sustained the injury against Reading in April and he has been out of action since.

Meanwhile, Jay Dasilva has suffered a setback and is now expect to be sidelined between four and five months, from August 2019. The left-back has a stress fracture of his tibia.

Saikou Janneh has started a recovery programme following knee surgery and Pedro Pereira could return after recovering from a dead leg.
