Record Season Card Numbers For City

City have achieved record numbers for season card sales in 2016/17.

Following the club’s fantastic start to the campaign, with five wins from their opening seven matches, sales have reached 13,670.

That beats the previous best figure of 13,663 in 2008/09, achieved on the back of City’s run to their Championship play-off final appearance at Wembley.

A range of initiatives were launched to boost season card numbers, including a FAN-led ‘Bring a friend’ reward offer, plus Under-12 season cards with a free replica shirt.

The introduction of Forever Bristol membership and the 7s programme proved extremely popular in 2015/16, with many converting to season card membership for this campaign.

Bristol Sport chief executive Andrew Billingham said: “The response from City fans has been tremendous and season card sales have continued to flourish following the fantastic start to the campaign on the pitch.

“We’ve hosted our biggest crowd for 26 years against Newcastle United with 22,000-plus inside the new stadium and more than 21,000 fans packed the Gate to watch the fantastic 3-1 win over Aston Villa.

“Hopefully we’ll continue to see big crowds at Ashton Gate throughout the Sky Bet Championship season and we can’t thank our season card holders enough for helping us fill the stands.”

Season card sales concluded at the end of August, however Forever Bristol and Kids Forever Bristol membership remains on sale on an annual basis for just £20, with the 7s offering available at £10.

Members benefit from £5 off home match tickets and priority for purchasing to secure the best seats available at Ashton Gate. A five per cent discount at the Bristol Sport Store and across the concourse concessions is also included.

Kids Forever Bristol membership ensures youngsters receive a gift, as well as two complimentary match tickets to be used for any home league game.

It’s the next best thing to being a season card holder. To take up Forever Bristol membership, call 0117 963 0600 or buy online
