Preview: Yeovil Town Ladies v Bristol City Women

Bristol City Women make the short trip to Taunton tomorrow, as they take on Yeovil Ladies at the Viridor Stadium (kick-off 12pm).

Previous meeting

The sides last met in November in the Continental Cup, City Women ran out 2-0 winners in what was a dominant display the Viridor Stadium.

Goals from Lauren Hemp and Yana Daniels ensured victory for the Vixens

Today’s meeting

Bristol City Women make the trip south off the back off two away wins on the bounce against Sunderland and Everton respectively.

Willie Kirk’s side will be looking to make it three away wins in a row and two wins in a row in the league tomorrow, to chase down Sunderland for seventh place in WSL 1.

Yeovil picked up their first points of the season in recent times, drawing to Birmingham and Arsenal.

The Glovers also scored their first goal of the season against Everton on Wednesday in the 3-1 defeat.

One-to-watch

Megan Walsh – The Yeovil shot-stopper is widely regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the league after a string of impressive performances this season. City Women will have to be on top form to beat the Young Lionesses keeper tomorrow.
