Saturday, February 27th (3pm)

Bristol City travel to Nottingham Forest tomorrow (3pm) hoping to bounce back from their midweek defeat to Brighton at Ashton Gate.

All the key information on City's opponents can be found below:

NOTTINGHAM FOREST
After a 13-match unbeaten run, Forest suffered back-to-back league defeats for the first time in three months. Most of the Tricky Trees’ sequence of results consisted of draws and has left them 12th in the Sky Bet Championship. The Nottinghamshire club have struggled for goals this season, scoring the fewest in the top half (31), but have been fairly solid conceding the least outside the top six (28). Midfielder Ben Osborn received the Young Player of the Month for January, but Kyle Embecilio’s loan from FC Twente was cut short. Britt Assombalonga (knee), Oliver Burke (hand), Henri Lansbury (ankle), Andy Reid (groin), Daniel Pinillos and Matty Fryatt are all out with injury, but Ryan Mendes (groin) could return.

MANAGER
Dougie Freedman – Former Scottish footballer who most notably played for Crystal Palace as well as a two-year spell with Forest. The 41-year-old scored 90 goals in two spells with the Eagles. Freedman entered management a year after retiring and spent just over a season as the boss at Selhurst Park. He left Palace in October 2012 for Bolton Wanderers but was sacked in the early stages of his second full season with the club. In February of this year, the Scot took over at the City Ground following Stuart Pearce’s departure.

STAR MAN
Nélson Oliveira – Portugal international who signed on loan from Benfica in the summer. He spent last season in the Premier League with Swansea City, scoring once in ten appearances. The 24-year-old had a rich goalscoring as a Portugal youth international but has just one goal in 14 games for his country. He grabbed the winning goal on his debut for Forest as they beat QPR at Loftus Road. Oliveira is Forest’s top scorer with eight goals.

OFFICIALS
David Webb is appointed as the man in the middle. He will be assisted by Rob Smith and Ron Ganfield. The fourth official will be Ross Joyce.

TICKETS
The match is pay on the day for City fans.

LAST TIME OUT
Bristol City 2-0 Nottingham Forest – Aaron Wilbraham’s double earned City their first home win of season against Forest. The skipper’s deflected shot squeezed past keeper Dorus de Vries to give City an early lead, and seven minutes later he doubled the host’s advantage with a bullet header from Derrick Williams’ cross. Wilbraham could have grabbed his hat-trick in the second half but for a smart double stop from de Vries.

LAST SEASON
Sky Bet Championship: 14th
FA Cup: Third round (lost to Rochdale)
Capital One Cup: Third round (lost to Tottenham Hotspur)

DID YOU KNOW?
Forest are the only former European champion club not to be playing in their top division.
