WSL 1 action returns on Sunday, when the Vixens travel to Manchester City Women (2pm kick-off).
City Women will be looking to continue their good form they showed in their narrow defeat against Chelsea last weekend.
Manchester City Women, along with Chelsea are the only two sides that remain unbeaten in WSL 1.
The Blues have been a strong force in the league and have just come off the back of a convincing win against Everton Ladies in the Continental Tyres Cup and just last night, they defeated LSK Kvinner 5-0 in Norway in the Champions League last 16.
Previous meeting
The two teams last met in the Spring Series in May, at the Stoke Gifford Stadium.
Manchester City Women ran out 3-0 winners on the day, thanks to a sensational hat-trick from Lioness Toni Duggan.
One to watch – Claire Emslie
The Scottish forward joined Manchester City Women from Bristol City Women in July.
Emslie impressed Nick Cushing playing against his side in the FA Cup and Spring series. The 23 year old is thriving at her new club, with several assists and scoring her first goal against Oxford last week.
Emslie is an attacking presence on the pitch and creative on the ball. The Scotland international scored her first competitive goal for her country in their recent World Cup qualifier, where they defeated Albania 5-0.
