Preview: Everton Ladies v Bristol City Women (FA Cup)

Bristol City Women and Everton will both be looking to bounce back from recent league defeats, as they go head to head in this Sunday's FA Cup fifth round fixture at Super Marine FC (kick-off 2pm).

The Vixen's lost 2-0 to Liverpool in Widnes on Sunday, whilst The Toffees fell to a narrow 1-0 defeat by Chelsea at Kingsmeadow.

Previous meeting

City Women and Everton ladies last met back in January at the Stoke Gifford Stadium, where the Vixens ran out 2-1 winners, thanks to a brace from Lauren Hemp.

Today's meeting

Neither side have featured so far in this seasons FA Cup, as both teams enter the competition in the fifth round alongside other WSL teams.

The Blue Girls currently sit in ninth place in the Women's Super League, just a point below the Vixen's in eighth.

One-to-watch:

Courtney Sweetman-Kirk - The 27-year-old signed for Everton back in September making 13 appearances and scoring 5 goals along the way. After missing a penalty against Chelsea last weekend, she'll be keen to get her name back on the score sheet.
