Sky Bet Championship
Cardiff City Stadium
Friday, October 14th (7.45pm) - Live on Sky Sports 1

Bristol City make the short trip to Cardiff for Neil Warnock's first game in charge of the Bluebirds.

All the key information on Cardiff City can be found below.

CARDIFF CITY
Paul Trollope was dismissed on the back of Cardiff City's poor start to the campaign. The Bluebirds have registered just two wins to date - against strugglers Blackburn Rovers and Rotherham United. Six defeats in their last seven games leaves Cardiff currently second from bottom in the Sky Bet Championship.

MANAGER
Neil Warnock is set for his first game in charge, having been appointed to replace Trollope. Warnock boasts plenty of experience at Premier League and Championship level, and has already added Marouane Chamakh, Sol Bamba, Junior Hoilett and Kieran Richardson as free transfer recruits.

OFFICIALS
James Linington will be in charge of the match, assisted by Steven Meredith and Neil Davies. Tim Robinson has been named as the fourth official.

TICKETS
The match is all-ticket for visiting supporters.

LAST TIME OUT
Bristol City 0-2 Cardiff City, March 5th 2016. Lex Immers and Stuart O'Keefe scored the goals that earned the Bluebirds the spoils in this Severnside derby encounter at Ashton Gate.

LAST SEASON
Sky Bet Championship: 8th
FA Cup: Third Round (Lost to Shrewsbury Town)
EFL Cup: Second Round (Lost to MK Dons)

DID YOU KNOW?
City's last success in Cardiff actually came at the Millennium Stadium when they defeated Carlisle United 2-0 to win the LDV Vans Trophy. In six visits to the Cardiff City Stadium, City have failed to register a win (five defeats, one draw). Brian Tinnion and Christian Roberts scored the goals the last time City won on Cardiff soil at Ninian Park in 2002.
