MK DONS
Having won the race to join City in the Sky Bet Championship on the final day of last season, the Dons started life in the second tier with seven points from their first four fixtures, including victories over Rotherham United and Bolton Wanderers. But the harsh realities of the division and a lack of goalscoring touch to complement their possession football have contrived to leave MK on a five-game losing streak despite dominating many of their matches.
MANAGER
Karl Robinson – The longest-serving manager in the Championship and third behind only Arsene Wenger and Paul Tisdale from England’s top four leagues, Robinson took charge in the summer of 2010. After two unsuccessful play-off assaults in his first two seasons, the 35-year-old finally achieved the dream of chairman Pete Winkelman by leading the club into the Championship as runners-up to City last term.
STAR MAN
Carl Baker – a free agent following his release from Coventry City, Baker spent three weeks without a club before signing a short-term contract with MK in September 2014. Fast-forward eight months and the Liverpudlian was beating off competition from Dele Alli and 22-goal striker Will Grigg for the club’s Player of the Year award, earning a new deal in the process. He is also the Dons’ top scorer so far this season with four goals from midfield already.
OFFICIALS
Darren Bond is appointed as the man in the middle. He will be assisted by Mark Howes and Paul Hobday. The fourth official will be John Farries.

LAST TIME OUT
MK Dons 0-0 Bristol City – After a pulsating end-to-end affair earlier in the season in which Wade Elliott went from zero to hero in scoring a dramatic winner at Ashton Gate, the away fixture in February was rather less eventful. Over 5,000 City fans made the trip to see a nevertheless entertaining goalless draw in which both sides had strong penalty appeals turned down.

FA Cup: Second round (lost to Chesterfield)
Capital One Cup: Fourth round (lost to Sheffield United)
Johnstone’s Paint Trophy: Second round (lost to AFC Wimbledon)
