MANAGER
Aitor Karanka – Former Real Madrid and Athletic Bilbao defender who won one cap for Spain in 1995. In the late 2000s, the 41-year-old began his managerial career with Spain Under-18s before becoming Jose Mourinho’s assistant at Real Madrid in 2010. Karanka left the role three years later after the arrival of Carlo Ancelotti and was offered the chance of managing in England five months later with Middlesbrough.

Cristhian Stuani - Uruguayan striker who has ten goals for Boro this season in all competitions. The 29-year-old has spent the majority of his career in Spain, mostly at Espanyol where he scored 28 goals in 111 appearances. He has represented his country 26 times, notching five times and appeared in the 2014 World Cup.
