CRAWLEY TOWN
Tomorrow’s clash at Ashton Gate will see Crawley in action for the first time since November 29th. John Gregory’s side were knocked out of both the FA Cup and Johnstone’s Paint Trophy last month against Yeovil Town and Gillingham respectively. In the league Crawley sit in 17th place, just three points above the drop zone. Gregory’s side are currently on an unusual run which has seen them held to five straight draws.

MANAGER
John Gregory – Experienced manager who is best known for his spell in charge of Aston Villa. Brief spells at Derby County and Queens Park Rangers were followed with jobs abroad for Maccabi Ahi Nazareth (Israel), FC Ashdod (Israel) and FC Kairat Almaty (Kazakhstan). Gregory has now been in charge just over a year at Checkatrade.com Stadium and oversaw a huge revamp of the squad over the summer.

STAR MAN
Jimmy Smith – Midfielder Smith has been a consistent performer at League One level for a number of seasons. The Londoner progressed through Chelsea’s Academy and made his debut at the end of the 2005/06 season against Newcastle United but struggled to break into the first team. Now 27, Smith finally departed Stamford Bridge after 13 years for Leyton Orient in 2009 and put pen to paper on a two-year deal at Crawley after leaving Stevenage in the summer for an undisclosed fee.

OFFICIALS
Michael Bull will be the man in charge, assisted by Marvyn Amphlett and Derek Eaton. The fourth official will be Adam Nunn.

TICKETS
Tickets remain on sale for the Sky Bet League One clash with prices starting from Adults £20, Concessions £15, Under-19s £12, Under-8s £7. To secure your seat call Supporter Services on 0117 963 0600, visit the Bristol Sport Megastore or online.

LAST TIME OUT
Crawley Town 1-1 City, Saturday, May 3rd 2014 – In the final game of last season Jamie Proctor put the home side ahead before Simon Gillett levelled with a great strike from 25 yards out.

LAST SEASON
League One: 14th
FA Cup: Second round (lost to Bristol Rovers)
Capital One Cup: First round (lost to Cheltenham Town)
Johnstone’s Paint Trophy: Second round (lost to Newport County)

DID YOU KNOW?
The two clubs have met just three times in their history. Crawley won the first in an FA Cup third round tie when Matt Tubbs gave the League Two a shock victory. Two late goals from Jay Emmanuel-Thomas and Joe Bryan gave the Robins all three points last season at Ashton Gate before the 1-1 draw at the Checkatrade.com Stadium.
