Bristol City Women head north to face Birmingham City on Sunday at Solihull Moors FC (kick-off 2pm).
Sunday’s mid-table encounter is a re-arranged fixture from December, where inclement weather meant the fixture was abandoned at Solihull Moors.
Previous meeting
The sides previously met during the Spring Series, with the Blues running out 2-0 winners.
A first half brace from Ellen White was enough to give Birmingham all three points in May.
Today’s meeting
Birmingham come into Sunday’s encounter off the back of a 3-0 away loss to Sunderland at the Hetton Centre.
City Women's fortunes at the turn of the year were slightly better however, defeating Everton 2-1 at the Stoke Gifford Stadium.
Sunday's fixture is key game for both sides, with points and momentum high on the agenda across the board.
One to watch – Jess Carter
Carter has been at the Blues since 2013 and the youngster recently made her Lionesses debut against Kazakhstan in November. Just this week, she was named in the latest Lionesses squad for their warm weather training camp in La Manga, Spain.
