Both Arsenal and City Women go into Sunday’s encounter with one win from two games so far this season.
Arsenal opened their campaign with a hard fought win over Birmingham, before going down to Manchester City last weekend, with the defending champions looking in scintillating form.
City Women come into the game fresh from a Derby win against Yeovil Ladies, recovering from a heavy loss against Chelsea the week before.
The game will be live via the BBC red button and live updates will be provided on the BBC Sport website.
Previous meeting
The two sides met during the Spring Series at the Stoke Gifford Stadium, in the final game of the tournament, where Arsenal ran out 5-0 winners.
Both sides have different squads now, with many incomings and outgoings over the summer, so the Vixens will be looking for a better performance this time out in Borehamwood.
One to watch – Jordan Nobbs
The midfielder joined Arsenal from Sunderland in 2010 and has been a key player in the clubs success.
Nobbs, 24, captained England at the Under-17s World Cup and won the FA Young Player of the Year award in 2010.
Most recently, the talented midfielder was part of the England squad, in the UEFA Women's Euro 2017 where the Lionesses were semi-finalists. Nobbs scored one goal and made several assists during the tournament.
