Press Conference: Johnson Pre-Wigan Athletic

City head coach Lee Johnson met with the media ahead of Saturday's Sky Bet Championship encounter with Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium (3pm kick-off).

Here’s what he had to say…

- Fabian Giefer's eye injury has healed and the goalkeeper is available for selection

 - Gary O'Neil has had an injection and is "touch and go" for the weekend

 - Tammy Abraham is back in training and in contention to return after a month out

 - Head coach plays down the significance of Wigan's deteriorating pitch

 - Johnson wants to see his side carry on from where they finished against Norwich on Tuesday night performance-wise

 - Boss has not set a target for number of points or wins between now and the end of the season and isn't looking beyond the next game

 - Johnson adds: "Our away support has been fantastic all season and hopefully we'll have another good following on Saturday."
