Press Conference: Johnson Pre-Fleetwood

City head coach Lee Johnson met with the media ahead of the Emirates FA Cup third round tie with Fleetwood Town at Ashton Gate (Saturday. 3pm).

Here’s what he had to say…

- Johnson delighted to get two deals over the line and says another is very close

- Head coach says Jens Hegeler can operate as a centre-half, central midfielder or number ten

- Johnson adds Milan Djuric offers a different option in attack

- Boss says signings are for the team now and not to "come in and slot into our underbelly"

- City must wait to receive international clearance for their new duo

- Gary O'Neil remains sidelined, while Johnson also has a couple of other injury concerns

- City boss says he understands fans' frustrations

- Johnson hopes break from the league will be good for the players

- He adds the new signings have given everyone a lift

- Johnson says he enjoyed the cup as a player, adding: "It's still a great competition"

- On Fleetwood, he said: "They have a number of players who can change a game"

- Johnson says doing deals with Premier League and Championship clubs in this window is extremely difficult due to inflated prices
