Press Conference: Johnson Pre-Brentford

City head coach Lee Johnson met with the media ahead of Saturday's Sky Bet Championship encounter with Brentford at Griffin Park (3pm kick-off).

Here’s what he had to say…

- Johnson reflects on “good news stories” from City’s players who were away on international duty

- All those away with their countries have returned to training

- Head coach estimates Milan Djuric will be sidelined for a further 10-14 days by his hernia problem

- Boss reveals a couple of players have been suffering with flu-like symptoms this week

- Johnson pays tribute to City’s Lloyd Kelly, who has been nominated for the Football League Apprentice of the Year award

- Head coach spoke to Charlie Harris yesterday after the youngster suffered a double leg fracture, saying the defender is in good spirits

- Boss believes Huddersfield victory proved him right in never losing belief in his players

- “We feel like we’ve got a bit of momentum now,” he says of back-to-back wins

- Johnson thanks supporters for their backing, including the sold-out away end at Brentford and several hundred attending the Ashton Gate beamback

- Hosts Brentford have “a lot of clever, intricate footballers” according to the City chief

- Johnson asks for repeat of the Fulham away atmosphere from last season – a game City won 2-1 in front of a massive away following
