Press Conference: Johnson Pre-Barnsley

City head coach Lee Johnson met with the media ahead of Saturday's Sky Bet Championship trip to Barnsley.

Here’s what he had to say…

- Luke Freeman to have scan on ankle

 - Winger's injury could be ok, but worst case scenario could see him out for "weeks or months"

 - Head coach pleased to give Gustav Engvall a run out in front of home fans on Tuesday

 - Johnson praises Shawn McCoulsky rise from development group but adds: "I don't want to put too much pressure on him"

 - Heading back to Barnsley for the first time, Johnson says he expects a "hostile" reception

 - Head coach says he had "ups and downs" at Oakwell and thanks owner for sticking by him through the tough times

 - Johnson says he gained a lot from his experience at Barnsley

 - "Bristol City are my club and I would have left wherever for a return to Ashton Gate," he adds

 - Johnson recalls visit to Wembley as guest of Barnsley for Johnstone's Paint Trophy final, saying: "When my picture came up on the big screen, there were 40,000 booing...hopefully in jest!"

 - City boss says current Barnsley crop includes "dangerous players"

 - Johnson also praises Paul Heckingbottom as "a good guy and a good coach"
