City will host AFC Bournemouth in their final pre-season fixture ahead of the 2018/19 season.
Eddie Howe’s side will travel to Ashton Gate on Friday, July 27th (7pm kick-off), eight days before the Sky Bet Championship campaign gets under way.
It will be five years to the day since the last time City played the Cherries - a 0-0 draw ahead of the 2013/14 campaign.
Speaking of the club’s home pre-season friendly, City head coach Lee Johnson said: “It will be great to test ourselves against Premier League opposition and to show the work we have put in across pre-season.
"It should be a great and exciting game!"
Bournemouth finished 12th in the Premier League last season.
Ticketing information will be released in due course.
