Bristol City Women would like to thank Poppy Wilson and wish her the best of luck as she moves on from the club.
Wilson joined the club's Centre of Excellence in 2014 representing the Under-16 side, while finishing her GCSE's.
A year later, the young forward enrolled at SGS College. She combined her studies with both College and Development Team commitments, captaining SGS College to ECFA Cup success and the Bristol City Women Development Squad to the Development League FA Cup title in 2017.
After signing professional terms in the club with 2018 she has featured in the first team on a number of occasions, most notably scoring in Bristol City Women’s 3-0 FA Cup victory over Wimbledon last season.
Wilson has also represented England at Under-16, 18 and 19 level.
Everyone at Bristol City Women would like to thank Poppy for her service to the club and wish her all the best for the future.
