With COVID-19 restrictions still firmly in place and Failand reaching temperatures of 31 degrees, City's players were back together in testing conditions for the start of pre-season.
Just 20 days since the Robins' 2019/20 campaign concluded, preparations are now underway for the upcoming season, with Head Coach Dean Holden meeting up with his players for the first time since his position was announced on Monday evening.
The players had a staggered arrival early on Tuesday morning - meeting newly-appointed assistant head coaches Paul Simpson and Keith Downing - and were welcomed with a temperature check and a coronavirus test.
Having collected their new hummel training kit, they were split into four groups, which rotated between the various testing sessions. This included socially distanced hamstring strength tests, high jumps and skinfold measurements.
The afternoon then saw the squad return to the pitches, with attention turning to grass-based cardiovascular tests.
